'Married at First Sight' season 4 spoilers, news: one couple down, will the rest give up too?

American reality television series, “Married at First Sight” is one of the most intriguing shows today, with people being paired up and getting married in an instant. And in the process, viewers get front-row seats to see if the marriage will actually work. The show is currently in its fourth season and all eyes are on one couple, vacation rental manager Nick Pendergrast and social worker Sonia Granados.

The previous episode saw the end of account executive Derek Schwartz and flight attendant Heather Seidel’s marriage after just a couple of weeks. Per Us Weekly‘s recap of the previous episode, it was Heather who confessed and apologized to Derek because she wanted to seek divorce. Although Derek didn’t want it at first and was clearly disappointed that the marriage had to end so fast, he didn’t really have a choice but to accept it; just another failed love story in front of the cameras.

Meanwhile, in the next episodes, the most interesting issue that’s certainly going to take up a lot of air time is how Sonia and Nick will be able to address their intimacy. This one’s a bit atypical because it’s the guy who seems to be afraid or cautious to get close and personal with the lady. It isn’t really about Nick seeing Sonia as unappealing because if that’s the case, he wouldn’t have agreed to the marriage in the first place. In fact, he admitted that she’s quite hot. Well, Movie News Guide believes that it could all be caused by the fear of being rejected once any one of them makes the first move.

As for the third couple, boat interior designer Tom Wilson and realtor Lillian Vilchez, the main issue they will have to handle in the upcoming episodes will be the latter’s health, as she has to go through a minor shoulder surgery, according to TV Guide.

Well, it’s not really utter chaos this season for “Married at First Sight,” but one thing fans hope to see is if any of the remaining couples will be able to handle marital problems and survive the season while keeping their marriage intact.

“Married at First Sight” season 4 airs every Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. ET via FYI.
