'Married at First Sight' season 4 news: Show looks for willing people in Chicago; did Vanessa and Tres keep their marriage?

After the couples from Atlanta were visited in last night’s episode of “Married at First Sight” season 3, the show is looking for willing people to undergo the social experiment for its fourth run.

In season 3 of the show, only Vanessa Nelson and Tres Russel decided to stay as a couple. However, as soon as episode “Six Months After” aired, Nelson admitted to Dr. Pepper that she and Russel decided to split because “things just fell apart.” Russel owed up a lot of the divorce with his own attitude, but expressed that he still cares for Nelson and wants to be friends with her. The two conversed and got their closure, but they look like they will not be coming back together.

On the other hand, Sam Role and Neil Bowlus rekindled their friendship and are happy as to how they have grown as a person after the social experiment. It is still unclear whether they will decide to get back together or remain close friends.

As for Ashley Doherty and David Norton, they still stood firm on their decision to call it quits and just banked on the experience they learned from the show.

Meanwhile, season 4 of “Married at First Sight” has moved to Chicago to look for six willing people within 25 to 40 years old to undergo the experiment, noted Chicago Tribune. The panel will still include a clinical psychologist, sexologist, sociologist, and humanist chaplain to pair them, while the couples will see their partner on the wedding day for the first time.

Prior to the conclusion of season 3, psychologist Dr. Joseph Cilona and sexologist Dr. Logan Levkoff already announced their exit from the show with no clear reason indicated. It is still unclear who will replace them for season 4 of “Married at First Sight.”
