Viewers of FYI’s experimental reality series “Married at First Sight” may see some of their favorite couples dealing with more relationship drama and challenges in the upcoming installment.

From what transpired in the latest episode, the newly married pairs were still adjusting to their brand-new lives as spouses. Tres and Vanessa consummated their marriage, Sam and Neil were worried about the realness of their relation, while David was upset with his personal problems with his father, leaving Ashley uncertain of what to do to help him.

Vanessa was concerned that her husband may still be in his partying ways when he came home drunk and passed out. When Tres tried to talked to her and told her that it is not as bad as it used to be, she said that she has had a hard time trusting men because of her abandonment issues with her father.

The show’s resident psychiatrist Dr. Pepper talked to them about what their dreams are and what their current reality is and encourage them to be on the same page. Vanessa started to get a little relaxed and agreed for a compromise to make their relationship work.

Meanwhile, Sam and Neil seemed to have a problem expressing their true selves in front of the cameras. The former shared her opinion that the latter may not be acting natural when they are filming, while the latter expressed that although he was still committed to their marriage, he did not know how to communicate properly. Even Sam’s father said that Nei lwas a likeable man but he appeared to be guarded.

On the other hand, David and Ashley may be the couple not fortunate in their set-up as there was reportedly no intimacy and affection. Dr. Pepper gave them assignments to have mini parties in their home, invite friends, and talk to each other for at least 15 minutes at the end of the day.

In the next episode, Ashley admits that they are compatible, and they kissed while riding a Ferris wheel. However, it remains to be seen what her reaction was.

Meanwhile, the network has announced that they are seeking individuals based in Miami who may be looking for “The One” and who want to participate in their groundbreaking experiment and ready to become committed.
