The new and upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to sport a number of features, including an OLED touch bar and a touchscreen display. These specs are based on rumors that have started to come up about the upcoming new generation of Apple laptops.
The OLED touch bar, which is expected to replace the traditional function keys, has been rumored for a while now. In fact, the said feature has been reported to be just as good as confirmed because of a leaked photoone that was claimed to be a casing for the MacBook Pro 2016 which had a slot for what seemed to be the rumored OLED touch bar.
On the other hand, talk of a touchscreen feature for the MacBook Pro 2016 appears to be a somewhat newer introduction in the rumor mill. Should this become a reality for the MacBook Pro 2016, it will promote easier access for users, specifically when choosing apps and programs on their laptops. Also, this serves as a quicker alternative than using the touchpad.
Just last week, Apple made a move that many users and fans perceive to be one of the strongest indications that a new generation of MacBook Pro laptops are indeed coming, and coming very soon.
Apple reportedly started pulling out its legacy non-Retina MacBook Pro models from the displays of Apple stores and other authorized retailers. The device was not phased out though, as users can still buy one if they still wish to. The only thing is that since laptop was pulled out from displays, users can no longer test them out in stores.
Rumored changes and new features for the MacBook Pro 2016 include the alleged removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack. However, many see this as unlikely since most of consumers do not have a Bluetooth headset that would be compatible with the new laptop setup. Another feature that had been rumored to come to the new laptop is the addition of a Touch ID feature, with a fingerprint scanner embedded on the touch pad of the device.
The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be released later this year.
