MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs: Slimmer laptop to be announced later this month?

Apart from the equally anticipated MacBook Air 2016, the refreshed make of the MacBook Pro has been one of the hot topics among tech enthusiasts for the longest time. Rumor mills regarding the device have spun even more now that Apple may have a specific date on when the next-generation laptop will finally see the light of day.

Many now firmly believe that the company might launch the revamped laptops later this month as the premium device manufacturer has rescheduled its last profit report for this year at an earlier date.

That said, speculations of an Oct. 27 launch for devices such as the MacBook Pro and Air are rapidly gaining ground. Aside from this, it was also publicized some months back that some retail outlets of the company had offered earlier iterations of the laptop at very generous prices. Moreover, there were even those who shelved the older variants of the laptops explaining that such makes would be rendered as outmoded in the coming months.

Just like the MacBook Air, the upcoming MacBook Pro is said to also bear a more slender contour to be fortified with an aluminum frame. Contrary to reports of a headphone jack-less render, the new MacBook Pro is still believed to be donning the traditional audio connector that is said to arrive alongside USB Type-C hubs.

Furthermore, it was also previously mentioned that there’s a high probability that the next MacBook Pro will be equipped with an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) touch bar atop the device’s keyboard eventually bumping off the physical function keys. Having that said, it can be safely presumed that the forthcoming portable computer is most likely going to carry a steeper price tag considering the said updates.

Though it has yet to be confirmed, avid Apple users are expecting that the MacBook Pro 2016, as well as other product lines, will be finally announced this October.
