Microsoft unveiled Lumia 650 in the market last month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and released it shortly afterwards to other regions such as Europe. However, people residing in the United States are yet to get their hands on the device.

The Twitter page of Lumia US is flooded mostly with information and promotion about their flagships, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL. However, a few days ago, a fan asked the social page when the Lumia 650 will come.

The page revealed that it will be announcing the details this week, saying, “Please stay tuned… we’ll be posting some official updates on the social media this week! #TeamLumia #Lumia650.” As of writing, Lumia is yet to release the said official information. Once launched, the said device will be carried by AT&T’s subsidiary, Cricket.

Microsoft Lumia 650 is the newest handset from the company that is expected to cater to businesseses, where employees can use it conveniently while on-the-go. The handset comes with a 5.0-inch screen with 720×1280 pixel resolutions. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor and Adreno 304 for its graphics. These are complemented by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 200GB through microSD.

The camera of Lumia 650 is an 8-megapixel main shooter with LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel secondary snapper. The Lumia 650 carries a removable 2,000 lithium ion battery and Windows 10 out of the box. Interested buyers may choose from the color options of black or white. As for its cost, the newest device from Microsoft falls around the mid-tier range and is expected to be sold around $200.

A few weeks ago, the Lumia 640 received a massive discount online such as on Best Buy.com, believed to be attributed to the recent launch of the Lumia 650.
