The much-awaited Lords of The Fallen sequel is finally happening, as developer CI Games confirmed through a report via Eurogamer.
With the success of Lords of The Fallen, the sequel is already something that fans and players alike have been expecting for some time nowand due to the first games success in sales, the sequel received its green light.
With the sequel already confirmed to be coming, no other details is available yet with regard to possible gameplay changes, characters, plot, or anything at all. But one thing is for sureprevious co-developer Deck13 Interactive won’t be coming back to work for it anymore.
“We are not working with Deck 13 right now,” Tyminski confirmed, according to EuroGamer. “We are starting the project, we start from the concepting [conceptualization], but we definitely will be working with a lot of partners.”
When asked about the reason of the split-up, Tyminski have been careful to spill any information. “To be honest it’s confidential. We have very clear thinking on how we want to make Lords of the Fallen 2 and we have a very good idea.
Lords of The Fallen 2 will come on 2017, but with no definite release date yet. As to why, Tyminski had this to say: “We learnt not to say about the release date too early, so we will only be announcing the release date of each particular game when we will be close enough and we will be sure the game will be on time.”
In the first Lords of The Fallen Game, players took the character of Harkyn, a convicted criminal whose sins manifest on him in the firm of runes. The game is set in a world ruled by demigod beings called Judges, punishing every crime committed, no matter the weight. Harkyn was released from prison to undertake a mission to the Rhogar Realm, a place vanished by the Judges into another dimension.
