Longmire Season 4: trailer hints at Longmire's fight with his conscience

Netflix has just released the teaser trailer for the fourth season of Longmire and it promises to be packed with the same elements that fans of the show have loved since its first season.

According to a report by Coming Soon, the season will pick up right where the finale of Season 3 left off. After Longmire found out who murdered his wife, he sets off to find who is responsible with the intent of seeking revenge. The main question will be what extent he will go to avenge his wife.

Viewers are also expected to learn the aftermath of Branch Connally’s confrontation with the alleged culprit. It can be recalled that at the height of the confrontation with the ‘killer’, a gun went off although it was left unsure what happened.

The season is expected to delve into Walt’s personal struggles based on the trailer where he questioned the rightness of the path he has so far taken.

“Have you ever felt like you’ve created more evil than you’ve stopped,” he said in one segment.

“Sometimes, a man gets a second chance but its not that you come back, its how you come back that matters,” Longmire says towards the end of the teaser.

Robert Taylor, who plays Longmire, believes that the quality of shows being shown on cable and streaming sites like Netflix are raising the bar in terms of viewership.

“I think cable TV in the United States is amazing right now. It’s reinvented television, really. What’s going on in the States with some of these cable shows like ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Mad Men’ is amazing stuff.”

Longmire returns to Netflix for a 10-episode run starting September 10.
