The LG X screen smartphone, part of the newly launched LG X series of smartphones, is now available in Europeor more specifically, in The Netherlands, where an online retailer offers the device up for grabs.
European online retailer Woos.nl listed the LG X screen smartphone at 343.64 or $387.21 in current exchange rates. The device the online retailer is selling is only the black variant.
As for the specifications, the LG X screen smartphone sports a 4.9-inch IPS LCD main display with a 1.76-inch secondary display at 520 x 80 pixels resolution and an “Always ON” feature. The main display has a resolution of 720p HD. The secondary display can be used to access frequently used apps, answer calls without leaving the current activity, check time and date, battery status, and be a mini music player.
It runs under a quad-core chipset with CPU speed clicking in at 1.2 GHz. It packs 2GB RAM with 16GB built-in internal storage capacity, which is expandable via an external microSD card.
As for the camera, the X screen sports a 13-megapixel main rear camera with autofocus and LED flash features, and it comes coupled with an 8-megapixel front facing snapper for selfies and other similar functions.
The device is powered by a 2,300 mAh removable battery, supports LTE network connectivity, and boots on the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0.
“Everyone has a favorite smartphone feature,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company at the launching of the new X series. “At LG, we think there’s room for devices that do one thing very well and that customers shouldn’t have to pay for features that they don’t want. At the end of the day, we’re committed to offering consumers more choices.”
