LG Nexus, Huawei Nexus release date: LG Nexus to be called 5X, Huawei Nexus as 6P

The long string of rumors that surround the LG and Huawei-made Nexus phones may finally be coming to an end, but not before the latest rumors surfaced, this time talking about the alleged official names for both the LG and the Huawei Nexus smartphones.

Droid Life reports sources saying that the two new Nexus phones from LG and Huawei will be called the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P, respectively.

Previously, reports have already revealed that the LG-made Nexus phone may be eventually called by the official name of LG Nexus 5X. Previously reported by GSM Arena, the LG nexus 2015 may be called the LG Nexus 5X, but Google has not made up its mind on the final launch branding of their new smartphone release. Additionally, the report also revealed the alleged planned pricing for the LG Nexus 5X.

According to a source, the new LG Nexus 5X will be priced at least $50 more than its predecessor model. Should Google stick to two variants of 16GB and 32GB, then users can expect the new LG Nexus 5X 16GB variant to be available at around $400 (since the previous release came at $350 for the 16GB variant), and a 32GB variant for $450.

On the other hand, it was the first time that the Huawei-made Nexus phone was tipped with an official namethe Huawei Nexus 6P.
