LG recently revealed its new line of smartphones, the K series. The new series aims to bring to users premium smartphone experience with stylish designs, all for a budget-friendly price. The company showcased the first two members of the new line at the recently held Consumer Electronics Show 2016 in Los Angeles. The LG K7 and the K10 smartphones were showcased to users. Now, LG revealed its complete lineup of smartphones that will be a part of the new series.
The new LG K series has a tag line which says, “Find Your own Style.” Including the first two unveilings, a total of five models are now members of the new seriesthe LG K4 LTE, K5, the K7 LTE, the K8 LTE, and the K10 LTE. The lineup was revealed via LG’s official Facebook page.
“As part of LG’s new affordable mid-range smartphone series, the K10 and K7 stand out both in design and camera features,” the Facebook page post read. “The glossy pebble design complemented with intricate woven back patterns provide a better grip and unique features including the ‘gesture interval shot’ and ‘tap and shot’ will bring a hassle-free selfie experience to those in use.”
“Our 2016 K Series is the latest example of LG applying its best mobile technology and premium design philosophy across numerous smartphone categories,” Juno Cho said previously, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Customers equate the LG name with great smartphone imaging technology and we are committed to delivering on that flattering expectation.”
The K10 model is now available in South Korea for KRW 200,000 or around $165 if converted. LG has not yet announced specific international sales plans for the new series.
Key specifications of the LG k10 include a 5.3-inch In-cell Touch display with 720p HD resolution, a quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz, and LG’s Gesture Shot and Gesture Interval Shot for the cameras.
