The rumored next-in-line device from Lenovo dubbed as the Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite has reportedly recently been spotted in the Chinese telecommunication certification authority, TENAA.
According to Mobile Dad via the translation of Phone Arena, the reiteration of the original model is believed to be what the codename “Legend K51c78 lemon X3 Lite” is referring to. The specifications suggest that it may have a MediaTek MT5653 octa-core processor CPU clocked at the speed of 1.3 GHz under the hood. It may be partnered with 2 GB of RAM and built-in memory of 16 GB, expandable via a microSD card.
Other features to be included is a 5.5-inch full high definition screen display with the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, while the cameras it comes with are a 13-megapixel back lens and a 5-megapixel front-facing shutter. The battery is said to be long-lasting with 3300 mAh capacity.
When it comes to the design, there will be four color options black, gold, silver and white. While being a lite version of the predecessor, it is deemed to be slightly more compact at the dimension of 153 mm x 75.9 mm x 8.7 mm compared to the Vibe X3 with 154 mm x 76.4 mm x 9.4mm. The weight is decreased from 175 grams to 152 grams.
Interesting elements assumed to be included are fingerprint scanner located below the rear camera and dual-tone flash and connectivity support for 4G and LTE. The operating system is touted to be Android Lollipop version 5.1 out of the box.
The price tag is expected to be around $140 as it may be marketed as a low-range device and an affordable option for consumers who are on a tight budget.
Lenovo has yet to officially comment on the speculations or confirm the existence of the model. All information available for now should be taken with the proverbial grain of salt.
