With still a few months left before The CW premieres its new superhero show “Legends of Tomorrow,” fans are already curious to know which heroes from the DC universe will be featured in the series.

Legends of Tomorrow is another spinoff show adapted from DC by The CW that features Atom (Brandon Routh), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), White Canary (Caity Lotz), and Rip Hunter (Arthur Danvill).

According to the show’s IMDB page, “Alias'” Victor Garber has also signed on to play Dr. Martin Stein and Firestorm, a role he will share with actor Franz Drameh. On the other hand, another report from Geek confirmed the inclusion of Hawkgirl and Hawkman to the cast.

Hawkgirl will be played by actress Ciana Renee while Hawkman will be played by Falk Hentschel.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Doctor Fate, Katana, and The Question will be featured in the show in addition to Arsenal, Connor Hawke, Jonah Hex, and Killer Frost as reported by Yibada.

Executive Producer and writer Phil Klemmer sat down with Comic Book back in September to discuss what fans should expect when “Legends of Tomorrow” hits the small screen sometime next year.

According to the EP, one thing that makes the new show fresh is that it has a lot of layers to the story, which the storytelling presents like it is peeling back the layers of an onion.

He added that it would also be interesting to see a ragtag bunch of superheroes deal with the consequences of screwing up a timeline even if their main intent was merely to stop the main villain of the piece.

“For me, the fun is, when they go back in time and they’re trying to do something to stop Vandal, they’ll accidentally or purposefully screw up the future in such a way that it’s like we become our own enemy, you know? The butterfly effect of what happens if you do something that has these unforeseeable consequences in the future so suddenly it’s not about, s–t, stopping Vandal Savage in 200 years, it’s about, ‘Oh, man, how do we fix what we screwed up in the last episode?'” he explained.

“Legends of Tomorrow” will revolve around the character of time traveler Rip Hunter who will recruit a team of superheroes and supervillains to help prevent the apocalypse.
