Law & Order: SVU will return for once again with stories of real life crimes for its 17th season on September 23.
In its two-hour premiere, Law & Order: SVU will feature the story of Robert Durst, son of Seymor Durst, who has been linked with several disappearances and murders, including that of his wife Kathleen McCormack Durst, longtime friend Susan Berman, and elderly neighbor Morris Black.
In the teaser, bodies in black trash bags were seen being found in water, there are strange disguises, and even confessions on a recorded tape.
“The Law & Order gang tries to build a case against an eccentric New York billionaire who they believe has committed a series of murders. An audio confession and an ocean’s worth of body parts on garbage bags are their only evidence,” reports the VC Post.

On the other hand, the 17th installment will also feature a case about transgenders, with Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) obsessed and on the lead. Robert Dallas will also come back to reprise his role as killer Dr. Greg Yates.
