Reality star Khloe Kardashian is doing the promotional roundabout for her new show “Kocktails with Khloe” to air on FYI.
They youngest Kardashian sister did not hold back when pressed about the different kinds of stories that have gone around in the recent months about her and her family. This includes her personal relationships with former husband, Lamar Odom and stepfather, Bruce Jenner.
“I’m sure people would say it’s a mistake for me, I wouldn’t change what I did because it was also some of the best times of my life… So for me, I wouldn’t say it’s a mistake. I would say I needed that experience for me and I never felt better in my life at that time,” said Koko during her visit to Howard Stern’s radio show with regards to her abrupt marriage to Odom.
The two who wed only after a month of knowing each other and despite facing some backlash from her family, played the happy couple until their separation broke out in 2013. Turned out, Lamar had been cheating on Khloe majority of their marriage which she revealed to find very odd given that their marriage was nothing short of great.
The 31-year-old also shed some light on her stepdad’s transition last year. Formerly known as Bruce Jenner before she transitioned to Caitlyn, the former Olympian had some pretty public revelations which in turn greatly affected her family.
“When things started going,” Khloe remembered, “he would only want to talk to us on camera… and I think it was also for security. Maybe he felt like we couldn’t get as upset or whatever.”
But Khloe who is known to have a strong personality, did not let the cameras intimidate her. In a couple of outings in “Keeping Up with the Kardashian: Bruce Special,” she was seen in numerous arguments with Jenner.
“We felt so like ‘what the f***?’ We’ve been asking you and why do business people know?’ I never want someone to feel like they have one-up on our family. We are a family. We’ve never turned our backs on each other yet with all the c********* of s*** that’s happened in our lives, why would we now?”
She continued venting out that during that time, every sister had a different story because Jenner would not be consistent on what was going on and what he was planning to do in the future. She even so much revealed that the family did not know the extent of the 66-year-old’s transition.
“We didn’t know when he was going to start fully dressing as Caitlyn,” she admitted.
Despite the drama, the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan is still behind their patriarch’s back putting on a united front when Jenner accepted ESPY’s Arthur Ashe Courage Award last year.
If her frankness and honesty is any indication on what fans can expect from “Kocktails with Khloe,” the show will definitely be offering more bombshells once its premieres on Jan. 20 on FYI.
