There are several rumors surrounding the casting of Green Lantern as it is unsure which version the movie will incorporate into the plot.

There are reports that Tyrese Gibson may be tapped to play the John Stewart version of superhero but if the film chooses to go the Hal Jordan route, there is a big chance that Dan Amboyer, best known for his portrayal of Prince William in William and Catherine: A Royal Romance, could land the part. Chris Pine was also being pegged for the role.

Meanwhile, a VC Post article reported that are also rumors that the role will be filled by a woman. If the film opts for the Jessica Cruz version of Green Lantern, Michelle Rodriguez was reportedly being wooed for the part. The Fast and Furious star was quick to dispel the rumors.
