Jurassic World trailer shows Irrfan Khan; Chris Pratt offers humorous apology for potentially offending anyone on press tour

To drum up even more excitement for the upcoming release of Jurassic World on June 12, a new trailer was released by the studio featuring Irrfan Khan who plays the role of Simon Masrani.

The 38 second video shows Khan and actress Bryce Dallas Howard viewing a dinosaur lurking in a man-made forest and discussing whether the creature “would scare the kids.”

Khan’s participation in the movie is expected to generate a lot of buzz following the actor’s success in his previous films “Piku,” Namesake and The Life of Pi.

Meanwhile, Jurassic World lead actor Christ Pratt has taken to Facebook to apologize in advance for saying “anything dumb” in his interviews, cnet.com reported.

Pratt, who has been making a niche for himself in comedy before he was tapped to play Peter Quill in Marvel blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy, is known to have a great sense of humor.

“I want to make a heartfelt apology for whatever it is I end up accidentally saying during the forthcoming ?#?JurassicWorld? press tour.”

“I am not in the business of making excuses. I am just dumb. Plain and simple. I try. I REALLY try! When I do (potentially) commit the offensive act for which I am now (pre) apologizing you must understand I (will likely have been) tired and exhausted when I (potentially) said that thing I (will have had) said that (will have had) crossed the line,” he said.

Jurassic World is the fourth installment in the Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park franchise which originally starred Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.

The new movie takes place 20 years after the original movie. Taking its cue from the original concept, the film will feature a dinosaur theme park but with a new attraction that will backfire and cause damage and destruction that only dinosaurs can.
