Josh Duggar and Anna go out in public; Josh didn't spend Easter with family

Josh and Anna Duggar spent quality time together last weekend as they were spotted furniture shopping in Arkansas.

The couple visited Sam’s Furniture in Springdale, Arkansas last Saturday, reports said. The couple was accompanied by Anna’s sister Priscilla Waller and her husband, David. The article revealed, however, that the Duggars were not shopping for themselves.

This is the first time that Josh and Anna were spotted publicly after Josh finished his in-house rehab treatment earlier this month.

Meanwhile, despite the Saturday outing, Josh was not around to celebrate the Easter festivities with his family.

“The Duggars spent Easter as a family,” a source of Entertainment Tonight said. “There was lots of food and fun. Members of the family were hanging out for hours. Josh was not around.”

“The family is doing well and just focusing on themselves,” the tipster added. As previously reported, Josh is struggling to settle back in his old life as he is purportedly being isolated by other family members who still cannot accept what he did.

Last year was not easy for Duggar’s eldest child as he was embroiled in multiple scandals starting with his previous molestation case that involved his sisters. After that, the floodgates of controversy just seemingly opened as numerous scandals including cheating and porn addiction problems were brought to the public’s attention. The drama became so big that TLC had to pull the plug on the family’s famous reality show “19 Kids and Counting.”

Luckily, it seems like Josh and the rest of his family are slowly putting back the pieces of their old life together with the clan’s reported return on TV and Josh’s planned public speaking tour.

Earlier this month, Josh’s younger brother, John-David Duggar said, “The devil took his best shot,” during his guesting gig in Good Morning America.

“And he tried to take our whole family down, but God has really used this to — instead of tearing us apart as a family, he’s using it to draw us together, so for us, we’ve forgiven, and we’re moving on, and we’re looking to the future,” he added keeping his hopes high for his brother and the whole Duggar family.
