Chinese OEM manufacturer Huawei is set to unveil its latest flagship, which is dubbed as the Huawei P9, on March 9. Despite keeping it under wraps, however, numerous leaks about the device and its specs have already been revealed and are in fact circulating the Internet. Even a few days before the launch, a Chinese site has leaked additional photos of the device as well as information about its specs and its price.

According to a Tech Times report, the leak came from a Chinese site which revealed some interesting information about the upcoming device.

The Huawei P9 will not just be one device but will actually be a whole line of devices. According to the report, there will be four models of the P9, all of which will be introduced at the event. The first three of the line include the standard Huawei P9, then the Huawei P9 Max and the Huawei P9 Lite. These three are said to be the successors of the Huawei P8, P8 Max and P8 Lite. A fourth model is said to have a screen that is larger than the P9’s screen but smaller than the P9 Max’s. It will also have extra RAM to boot.

The report added that the P9 Lite version will have a Snapdragon 650 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. Internal storage will be pegged at 16 GB.

The standard model, which is the Huawei P9, will be powered by a Kirin 950 chipset, having 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space.

The two other models, the Huawei P9 Max and the special or custom Huawei P9, are considered to be the high-end models of the line. Under the hood, both of them will have Kirin 955 processors paired with 4 GB of RAM. Their internal storage space will be the largest among the models at 64 GB.

In terms of screen size, the P9 Max will have the largest screen at 6 inches. All of these devices will have Full HD display, according to another report in VR Zone. The reason for this is to save on power that is usually drained by Quad HD displays.

According to the Tech Times report, the leaked images show that all the devices in the P9 line will be equipped with dual cameras on the rear. Fingerprint scanners will also be present in all devices. It was unclear though what kind of camera sensors will be found on the new line.

For the first time, information about the handsets’ price points has also been revealed. According to the leak, the cheapest handset is the Huawei P9 Lite, which is said to be priced at roughly $289. The most expensive of the bunch is the Huawei P9 Max, said to cost about $627.
