Roughly a week before its launch, some of the specs of Huawei Nova 2 were leaked this week through a set of promotional posters.

According to GSM Arena, the posters that were leaked on Chinese website Weibo confirmed that the device will come with four color options. Prospective buyers will get to choose from either Blue, Green, Pink, and Black. However, the latter is not yet confirmed since the leaked images only show the front portion of the device.

Furthermore, the leaks also confirm that the device will offer a 5.2-inch full-length HD display. This is a bit bigger than the display its predecessor from last year had. Additionally, the report also mentioned that sources have shared that the smartphone come with a 3,000mAh battery.

Slated for launch on May 26, the Huawei Nova 2 will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 658 processor. Among all the leaked details, perhaps the most notable one is the Nova 2’s 20MPI front-facing camera. Considering the niche and target market of the product, which are the selfie-focused smartphone users, the camera and the power behind it will make it one of the front-runners among its contemporaries.

Apart from the powerful front-facing selfie camera, the Nova 2 will also come with a dual setup at the back. This setup is comprised of 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras. A finger scanner is also located at the back of the device.

Meanwhile, a report from Gizbot mentioned that a “Plus” version of the Nova 2 will also come out. The Nova 2 Plus will share practically the same design as the standard version. However, it will sport 5.5-inch display compared to the latter’s smaller one at 5.2 inches.

The Nova 2 will be launched in the historical city of Changsha with a price tag of CNY2,500 or $362 USD. Pricing and other details of the Plus version remain to be seen. However, these will likely be known on or before its official unveiling.
