The Huawei Nexus is once again hot on the rumor mill, as new live images of the alleged new smartphone surfaced once more online.
As reported by NDTV Gadgets, a Google+ user by the name of Tiesen Fu posted via the social network what seem to be live photos of the upcoming Huawei Nexus smartphone. The image shown is in line with all other previous leaks and rumors.
The rear-facing camera of the Huawei Nexus, as shown in the latest images, can be found on the left side of a slightly protruding black glass panel on the on the top part of the back cover of the phone. Previously rumored fingerprint sensor was also shown as well as the front-facing speaker. Additionally, the Google+ user tipped that the images came from a source in China, where the Huawei Nexus is expected to be on its manufacturing stage.
Previously, Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks on Twitter) posted to his Twitter account alleged details about the upcoming Nexus phone made by Huawei. According to the tweet, the Huawei Nexus phone will sport a metal body, and will be around 159.4×78.3×6.6/8.5mm in dimensions. A 5.7-inch wide display may come, along with front facing speakers. A fingerprint sensor was also tipped, as well as support for USB Type-C.
The new tip falls in line with previous rumors, along with rumors of the said smartphone having a 2,560×1,440-pixels QHD (or Quad-HD) resolution.
Steve Hemmerstoffer also shared a 10-second YouTube video showing an alleged prototype unit of the Huawei Nexus phone. The said video showed what is said to be the Nexus handset made by Huawei, with the fingerprint sensor also situated just below the rear camera sensor. A USB Type-C port was also shown.
As with all rumors, it is always best to take unofficial information with a grain of salt.
The Huawei Nexus phone is expected to launch alongside Android Marshmallow 6.0.
