Huawei will be updating some of their Honor devices to the latest version of the Android operating system, the Android Marshmallow 6.0, starting in February next year.
In a Twitter post by Indian subsidiary Honor India, the company revealed that they will be updating a set of Honor devices to Marshmallow on February 2016. This will be the Honor 7, the Honor 6 Plus, the honor 4X, as well as the Honor 4C.
As previously revealed, the initial list of Huawei devices getting the Android Marshmallow 6.0 update include other devices, as well and the list included the aforementioned devices. It should be noted that the list is only a partial list of supported devices, as more are set to be revealed in the future.

- MediaPad X2
- Mate S
Other mobile manufacturers that have announced their initial list of Android Marshmallow updates includes Sony. The company has devices skipping the Android Lollipop 5.1 version and will update straight to Android Marshmallow 6.0 from Android Lollipop 5.0 instead. These are: the Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia C4, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua, and the Xperia M5.
Additionally, HTC also previously announced its update plans as it detailed devices that will update to Android Marshmallow 6.0 before the year ends. First off in the list is the HTC One M8 and the One M9, as well as the One M9 +. Other devices are the One E9, One E9+, One ME and the One E8, along with the One M8 EYE. The HTC Desire 826, Desire 820 as well as the Desire 816 are all up to get their fix on the latest Android OS version anytime soon. The new HTC Butterfly 3 will also be getting the update to the new software version.
