Taiwanese smart phone and tablet manufacturer HTC has recently hyped up fans with what looks like the near launch of the HTC One X9. After what was supposed to be just a teaser, the floodgates seem to have opened and various leaked images have been popping up online.
A report by Chinese local website ANZHOU revealed that HTC is planning to roll out the One X9 sooner than later. Although it is said to not be a premier league phone like the HTC One M9, the rumored specifications for the hand held device have been eliciting interest from the market.
HTC One X9’s target market is the mid range demo with buyers looking for a sleek, worthy smartphone that will not be putting a hole in their pockets. Based on purported images of the phone, it definitely has already checked in the looks department.
According to an article published by Gizmoids, the One X9 will supposedly boast a brushed aluminum unibody which looks like the design used in the HTC One A9. However, the aesthetical similarities of the phones end there as the upcoming device also looks like it will feature dual front facing speakers and capacitive navigation buttons, which the former lacked. Furthermore, the X9 may also sport a camera with LED flash.
Speaking of camera, its main one is said to be a 13-megapixel snapper with OIS and 4K video recording support, while its front facing camera is expected to be an ultra pixel shutterbug.
The phone will sport a 5.5-inch full HD touch screen display with 1080×1920 resolution. It is also outfitted with a 16GB internal storage with the ability to further expand it via an SD card. Under the hood, the One X9 is said to be powered by an octa-core processor by Mediatek and will use a 3,000mAH battery.
