HTC fans are excited for HTC’s new release, and a leak on the Internet has made it possible for people to get a first look at HTCs One A9 handset ahead of the release.
According to the International Business Times, a live photo of what is reportedly the One A9 has been leaked through the Chinese social networking site Weibo.
This follows credible tipster Evan Blass’ own leak of photos of allegedly the A9 sporting six different colors.
The Christian Post noted that, based on the leaked pics, the HTC One A9 will come in hues of cast iron, rose gold, carbon gray, deep garnet, opal silver, and acid gold.
The article then added that the leaked pics confirm that the One A9 Aero will be a 5-inch smartphone with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, or 1080p. It will also have a fingerprint scanner located at the front of the device, and directly below the screen.
The pictures also confirm that the HTC One A9 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset and an octa-core processor, supported by an Adreno 405 graphics processor and 2 GB of RAM, the IB Times reported.
G for Games said that the A9 is going to come with 16 GB of storage space, but there is no word yet from HTC if the Aero will have memory expansion capabilities. The device will also reportedly have a 13-megapixel rear and 4-megapixel front camera.
Phone Arena noted that only the front camera uses the UltraPixel camera sensor that had earned unfavorable feedback from critics and users alike, while G for Games noted that a Sony-like sensor powers the main or rear snapper in the One A9.
According to the IB Times, the One M9 is set to be released by the Taiwanese phone maker in October, which is only days away.
