The second season of ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder” was filled with so many intrigues and revelations that fans of the crime drama television series can’t wait for the new season to air. And judging by how the creators of the show are marketing the third season, it certainly appears like there will be more murders to come.
The new season’s promotion is highlighted by the hashtag, #datmurda, which encompasses the entire show’s theme and is a representation of its title. Obviously, season 3 still will focus on Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) as she struggles to retain a professional relationship with her interns after all that has happened in the previous season.
Based on what the promo has in store for fans, it looks like Annalise will instantly face a tough situation on the very first day of school. A glimpse of what might happen was shown and by looking at it, it seems she might be facing something very serious as she appeared to be shaken up, according to Hollywood. The same report also pointed out the posters seemingly scattered around campus, showing her picture with a label written over it that says “killer.” Is it something that the school might have found out about Annalise that led to this or perhaps it’s just a ploy by her enemies? Wait, will she actually have new enemies in the upcoming season?
Meanwhile, the show’s executive producer, Pete Nowalk talked about the prospect of the new season finally revealing who killed Wallace (Adam Arkin) in his sit-down interview with Entertainment Weekly. However, just like what every TV producer does, there is always something left out of any revelation. Of course, it’s everyone’s duty to wait for the season to begin and follow every episode to know who the real culprit is.
Season 3 of “How to Get Away with Murder” premieres on Sept. 22 on ABC.
