Hawaii Five-0 season six just aired its fifth episode last Friday entitled “Ka Alapahi Nui” which, when translated means “Big Lie,” as the Five-0 probed stunt biker gang members to look for a killer who has got away through an action-packed roof top escape. Aside from this, Five-0 also confronted the Tough Mudder Competition and tried to emerge as the ultimate winner. The episode ended with the team striving for their best to cross the finish line with Danny (Scott Caan) being supported by Steve (Alex O’Loughlin) and Chin (Daniel Dae Kim), and actually bagging it.
In episode six, entitled “Na Pilikua Nui,” which means “Monsters,” the show will shift into a Halloween mood in time for the Halloween weekend, only to encounter some serial killer in their trick or treat. The official synopsis indicates the plot of the next episode as “It’s Halloween in O’ahu, and Five-0 must track down a serial killer inspired by Frankenstein. Also, Jerry calls Five-0 for help when an armed gang raids a blood bank, and Danny must track down Grace who lied and snuck out to a Halloween party,” as noted by Carter Matt. The same news portal said that despite the situation of having serial killer on the loose, the episode is still likely to infuse some comedy and fun into the show, especially as the first few episodes were a bit serious.
On the other hand, episode seven will air the following week, called “Na Kama Hele” or “Day Trippers,” and after which, there will be the eighth episode, “Piko Pau ‘iole,” which means “The Artful Dodger.”
Hawaii Five-0 initially aired season six on September 25 this year and is slated for 24 episodes through the season. The show is an American action drama and police procedural TV series which traces its origin from the classic series that aired from 1968 to 1980. The reboot first aired on 2010.
