Harry Styles news: 1D member changes management in the middle of band hiatus

One Direction is currently on a hiatus, and it seems that the four members of the sensational boy band are using this time to make some life changes.

Niall Horan has reportedly chosen to put his music career on hold for a bit to pursue a different endeavor. Sugarscape reported that the 22-year-old singer is looking to launch his very own golf agency. Liam Payne, on the other hand, has been continuously haunted by a solo career possibility since he appeared on the cover of Attitude Magazine last year. Louis Tomlinson is busy doing daddy duties to his newborn child. As for Harry Styles, besides being busy cozying up to supermodel Kendall Jenner, the pop singer has also changed management from Modest Management to Jeffrey Azoff. Azoff is the son of industry icon Irving Azoff.

“We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him,” said Modest executives Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee in a statement as reported by Billboard. “Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him.”

This further fueled rumors of a solo career for the singer. Recently, hit maker and Styles’ close pal, Charlie Puth, revealed that the former has been doing some work in the studio even sharing, “It was very Paul McCartney-esque. The last time I saw Harry, we talked about McCartney-esque chord changes.”

Whether this or this is not part of the grand plan which will take effect once the infamous hiatus gets lifted off is still unknown. As of now, fans can only hope that the band and the powers behind them will keep their word when they said that the hiatus is not just cover up for the band breaking up.
