'GTA 5' DLC rumors: New cars, football-themed contents to be next DLCs

There are rumors that “GTA V” will be having a new DLC lined up for the title.

Shawn Fonteno, the voice behind Maylay in the game, reportedly posted an Instagram photo that hinted a possible DLC for “GTA V.” However, the photo has already been deleted as of writing. It is still uncertain whether he was simply teasing people to believe something is coming, as he also gave some subtle hints in the past or a new addition will indeed be launched.

There are rumors that a new lowrider vehicle, tagged as the Lowrider II, as well as several new modes, will be dropping in the future. There are also talks that three new cars will be added in the roster of vehicles that can be upgraded in Benny’s Original Motor Works.

There are also talks that another DLC, called “Inch by Inch,” will introduce the adversary mode and will be inspired by the American football. The concept of the DLC reportedly has something to do with the players having to bring a package to the “end zone” area faster than the rest. A football uniform that was reportedly spotted further sparked the rumor about the said mode.

As with other rumors, fans will still have to take these with a grain of salt, as Rockstar has not officially announced anything regarding the title yet. However, if this is true, then “GTA 6,” the sequel that fans have been waiting for since the release of “GTA V” in 2013, will still take a long time to be launched and may not be in the works yet.

Take-Two Interactive, the company’s distributor, also announced that they will be in the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event this June at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California “in a big way.” However, they will most likely release “Red Dead Redemption 2,” another Triple A title, in the said event.
