GTA 6 rumors: May arrive in 2018; to include a female protagonist and job-like features?

Rumors have it that the sixth installment in the widely popular franchise, “Grand Theft Auto” may finally have a release window.

Although it is still not officially confirmed by Rockstar yet and there are only talks about its development among game enthusiasts, reports claim that the iteration may arrive in 2018 as the earliest date possible and 2020 at the latest.

When it comes to gameplay, speculations suggest that it may have a female leading character and even have the map of the entire United States as the location to do heists and missions. Others suppose that in order to make it different from predecessors, it may have some features likened to jobs such as getting a career as part of the army or police force. The car-chasing element may also provide more income if they become more difficult.

The last time Rockstar talked definitively about GTA VI was back in 2013 when President Leslie Benzies shared that the creative team are investing many ideas into the sequel, “We’ve got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don’t know what GTA 6 will be, but we’ve got some ideas… I don’t know how to describe it exactly that we’d like to do, and we’ll pick the right ones.”

The silence from the developers is being taken both ways either there are some truths in the assumptions or they may still be working out the base of the new game.

Meanwhile, GTA Online which received its “Lowriders DLC” recently may have another special update coming for the Halloween. People are guessing that two vehicles named “btype2” and “lurcher” will be included in the content alongside a seasonal weapon dubbed as “Flashlight.” There may also be additional equipment such as guns, machetes, 13 Halloween masks and NPCs.

GTA VI is expected to come out to next generation consoles across platforms such as Playstation, Xbox and PC.
