In the past season of NBC’s hit TV series “Grimm,” the so-called Scooby Gang had gone into a fierce battle in the finale which resulted in life-threatening injuries for some. However, all thanks to a mysterious stick, injuries were healed and lives were saved from death. But what really is the power of the mysterious stick, and are there aftereffects in using it on someone? What could they be? These, along with other questions about the mysterious artifact, would be answered in the upcoming sixth season of the show.
In a recent interview with Enstarz at San Diego Comic-Con, “Grimm” series creator David Greenwalt teased that the real deal involving the magical healing stick would be one of the biggest mysteries of the new season, and the real story behind it including its abilities and origins would be explored.
“[It] won’t be long,” Greenwalt said about the arrival of the stick’s negative properties. “That’s the very big mystery of the season. You’re going to see a lot of repercussions, but what is that, where does it come from, how did it get there. They buried it for a reason, for sure.”
In a separate interview with TV Insider, series star David Giuntoli, who plays the character of Nick, teased that the knowledge he is keeping is on the verge of getting revealed to the entirety of the Scooby Gang or not, as the outcome depends on him.
“Nick and the Scooby Gang are still discovering the potential of this stick, right along with the viewers,” Giuntoli said. “Nick survived a barrage of bullets through his chest and only he knows he’s invincible at this point. But we don’t know much more, like what kind of evil this stick could be used for if it falls into the wrong hands. He just puts that crazy stick back in his pocket. Is he going to tell the rest of the gang? We’ll see.”
“Grim” returns to NBC this fall.
