Nick (David Giuntoli) is up for a different challenge as he faces a local preacher using his unique Wesen abilities to lure more members into his cult in the brand new episode of “Grimm.”

The police officer will be dealing with an evangelical leader (guest star William Mapother) using his supernatural powers to increase the number of his followers. Unfortunately, things will blow out of proportion and Nick as well as Hank (Russel Hornsby) will be called to the scene to investigate the incident.

A released promo clip for the episode titled “Inugami” reveals that the situation quickly escalated after the preacher gets possessed by a supernatural entity and wreaks havoc during one of the group’s meetings.

Elsewhere in the episode, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) will go all the way in order to gain more power in the local government, and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) will sneak a trick using Adalind’s (Claire Coffee) hat in order to get farther into the Black Claw.

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode as reported by TV Guide reads, “Local youths are in danger due to an ancient code of vengeance that has been adopted by Japanese Wesen; and Adalind crosses paths with Eve upon returning to work at her old law firm,”

Moving forward, fans of the supernatural police procedural will be pleased to know that NBC has ordered another serving of the show. In a report by Variety, the confirmation came in via a statement from NBC Entertainment’s President, Jennifer Salke.

“We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons,” Salke said. “They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can’t wait to see what comes next.”

The current iteration of “Grimm” is averaging a decent 1.7 ratings in the 18 to 49 year old demographics while racking an overall 6.4 million viewers. This is a huge leap from their previous season which saw a 90 percent boost in the adult 18 to 49 rating and an additional 2.4 million viewers over all. In their last episode, the show came up with good numbers with an 11 percent increase and even a season high of 4.49 million audiences tuned in.
