Fans remain hopeful on the fate of Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April’s (Sarah Drew) romance as season 13 of “Grey’s Anatomy” is fast approaching.
The past season of “Grey’s Anatomy” saw the deterioration of Jackson and April’s relationship. There had been a lot of tension between the two and they eventually decided to divorce. However, at that time, Jackson was unaware of April’s secret which was that she was pregnant with their child.
Now that their baby has been born, fans are hoping that the two of them will get back together so that they can take care of their baby together. Fortunately, in the final moments of season 12, the two seemed to have begun rebuilding their friendship. Now that they are on better terms, there are a lot of fan theories speculating that they will somehow rekindle their romance.
Williams was able to share some teasers for what is to come with regard to their relationship. He explained that their relationship is somehow unstable and that though it is possible for them to get back together, it would be a lot of work.
The actor told TVLine, “It’s day to day with Jackson and April. They can have a very civil, mature conversation one moment, then be at each other’s throats [the next], because real life is like that. We carry frustrations and baggage and grudges.”
In addition, Jackson’s mother Catherine, played by Debbie Allen, could play a big role in determining the fate of their relationship. It was said that due to Catherine’s current relationship with Jackson, there would be a chance that April and Jackson will not get back together.
Because of this, fans will have to stay tuned to the next season of “Grey’s Anatomy” in order find out if the two of them will go their separate ways, or decide to continue their life together.
“Grey’s Anatomy” season 13 premieres on Sept. 22 on ABC.
