'Grey's Anatomy' season 12, spoilers: Arizona gets emotional in custody battle; Webber gives advice in episode 21

The fight for the custody of the daughter of Callie and Arizona further intensifies in the upcoming episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 12.

In the previous episode, Callie (Sara Ramirez) told Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) that she was looking into flying out of the country with their daughter Sophia (Eva Ariel Binder). Arizona did not agree with the decision and the thought of being away with Sophia, which prompted the couple to engage in a heated discussion. In the end, Arizona filed a legal case against Callie.

The upcoming episode is expected to continue their fight regarding their daughter. Titled “You’re Gonna Need Someone on Your Side,” the exclusive sneak peek from Entertainment Online gives a preview of the pain from Arizona’s perspective in episode 21 of the American medical drama television show.

The clip starts off with Arizona sobbing, while she tells her boss Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr) that she may lose the case.

She explains, “I’m putting up a losing fight. It’s just going to hurt Sophia. And it’s going to end up with me losing my little girl anyways because that woman is watching me be a terrible doctor and a terrible mother — which maybe I am. Today I feel like both.”

Nonetheless, Webber does not easily let Arizona feel down without putting up a good fight. He advises, “If you want your daughter, you’re going to have to fight like you’ve never fought. And you’re going to have to stand up for yourself and believer you deserve it.”

Meanwhile, some of the doctors in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital will also deal with their own relationships, In the official synopsis for the upcoming episode, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) will be seeking the support of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), while “things grow complex between Stephanie and Kyle.”
