The 2012 PlayStation Vita favorite, Gravity Rushcalled Gravity Daze in the Japanese regionwill be coming to the PlayStation 4 console next year, not only with a remaster of the original game, but also with a sequel exclusive to the PS4!
As detailed by the official PlayStation Blog, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida announced at a pre-Tokyo Game Show 2015 press conference that the 2012 fan-favorite Gravity Rush will be having a PS4 version soon! The new game will be called Gravity Rush Remastered.
The PS4 version of the game will first release on the Japanese markets on December 10. The North American region will be getting the remastered game on February 9 of next year, while the European region will be getting the game a day after on February 10.
Sony describes the upcoming game as follows:
“The acclaimed PlayStationVita hit comes to the PlayStation4 system. Gain a new perspective as Kat, a young girl who has lost her memory, and embark on an incredible gravity-defying adventure to save a world on the brink of destruction. Control gravity with the touch of a button to deliver devastating attacks and uncover the secrets to your own forgotten past.”
The newly remastered game improves highly on graphics, as game developer BluePoint Games takes advantage of the capabilities of the PS4 to bring to players stunning 1080p Full HD resolution on gaming. Furthermore, all other previous DLC packs from the PS Vita version of the game will be incorporated for the PS4 version once it arrivesThe Spy Pack, The Maid Pack and The Military Pack.
Additionally, it was also announced that the much awaited sequel to the game is finally in development exclusively for the PS4! Simply called Gravity Rush 2, the game is currently in development stage right now. No word yet on the game’s story yet, but the first trailer was released and it further teased, too!
