It has almost been 3 years since the last game in the “Grand Theft Auto” franchise, “Grand Theft Auto 5,” was released and a new title for the franchise may be already under development.

“GTA V” was a hit and offered a lot to the fans of the franchise when it was released in 2013. Now, players of the game are wondering how the franchise can enhance the game more.

There are already speculations that aside from the main storyline missions, “Grand Theft Auto VI,” may have new bonus missions which will not only take place in the U.S., but in other parts of the world as well. One speculated mission involves the deceased leader of the terrorist group called Al-Qaeda, Osama Bin-Laden.

“GTA VI” may also go on a different path in terms of gameplay. In “GTA V,” players had a chance to do crazy stunts with their cars aside from normal driving. On N4BB, an independent poll was conducted among the fans of the “GTA” franchise. Some fans said that they want the new characters of the game to be able to climb up mountains, drive off-road, and for new cars to do unusual tricks like wheel spins.

Regarding the location of the game, it is said that it may be outside of North America. The time setting may also not be during the modern times, and there may be a chance that new next game of the franchise may go back in time.

On the other hand, with a lot of games supporting virtual reality (VR), Rockstar Games may make full use of this technology in their next installment.

While there is no definite date with the release date, reports mentioned that it may be slated for a 2018 or even a 2020 release on future consoles such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two.
