It’s a whole lot of red carpets and parties lately as entertainment award events have been unfolding. On Feb. 12, it will be time for the people in the music industry to walk the red carpet for the highly-anticipated 59th Annual Grammy Awards night. However, some far-famed musicians are reportedly skipping the spotlight.

In a recent report from TMZ, three big stars are ditching the music’s big event in spite of their nominations. These include Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Drake.

According to the report, the 22-year-old Canadian singer feels that the Grammys doesn’t exactly have relevance and representation to young artists. He prefers to go somewhere else. The “Sorry” singer has four Grammy nominations, including Song of the Year for “Love Yourself.”

As for Kim Kardashian’s famous spouse, a source told Us Weekly that Kanye West wants to take some personal time “to just chill and decompress.” The 39-year-old “Famous” rapper has eight nominations this year with “Ultralight Beam” as Best Rap/Sung Performance. Previously, the songwriter and Yeezy designer threatened to protest if Frank Ocean’s album “Blonde” won’t have any nominations in the upcoming event. Apparently, Ocean did not submit any entry.

Meanwhile, Drake can’t show up because he is currently on his European tour. He is scheduled to perform at Manchester, England on the night of the Grammy Awards. The hip-hop and R&B artist, 30, is up for eight Grammys. His album “Views” is nominated for Best Rap Album.

In other news, Taylor Swift’s viral speech during last year’s Grammy ceremony has been used for the 2017 Grammy promotional video. The “Shake It Off” singer was awarded for Album of the Year.

“There are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” the artist said. “But if you just focus on the work, and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world,” Taylor she added.
