Sitcom “Girl Meets World” is doing pretty well on its own since Disney aired the show back in June of 2014. Proof of the imminent success of the program in terms of viewership rating is that Disney already gave season 3 the green light even before its sophomore installment even came to a close.
On top of that, despite having one more episode left to air to formally close season 2, the cast and crew are already starting with the production of season 3. The “Boy Meets World” prequel is set to come back some time in spring and is also slated to air a total of 30 episodes.
Carter Matt reports that in the new chapter of the show, fans can see some resolution to the ongoing debacle involving Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and Riley (Rowan Blanchard). This hints that the situation will be nowhere near rectified this ongoing season to stage a bigger picture in the next chapter.
Meanwhile, reports delve deeper speculating that season 3 will open up with Lucas being forced to choose between the two girls on who he will consider as his “girlfriend.”
As of now, Riley is winning the match. but it will not be as easy as it sounds like Maya will also be putting up a good fight.
The last episode for this season titled “Girl Meets Legacy” to air on March 11 is reportedly going to show the three plus Frakle (Corey Fogelmanis) facing their upcoming middle school graduation. The four friends will then wonder what kind of legacy they want to leave at John Quincy Adams. The episode will also feature familiar faces in Lee Norris as Minkus and Danny McNulty as Harley as guest stars.
