“Gilmore Girls” is coming back to the small screen next month in the form of a miniseries, so what can fans expect from Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) this time around?
The “Gilmore Girls” season 7 finale did not exactly tie up all the loose ends in the series and fans were unhappy that it ended that way. When Netflix announced that they were releasing “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” fans felt that a new lease on life was given to allow the show to have a proper ending.
So, who did Rory end up with: Logan Huntzberger (Matt Czuchry), Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia), or Dean Forester (Jared Padalecki)? Rory turned down Logan’s proposal in the penultimate episode of “Gilmore Girls” season 7, so will the character come back and woo her again?
Reports are saying Logan was not just successful in wooing her back, he actually got her pregnant. Apparently, the two hooked up in between the end of season 7 and the start of the miniseries, and now, Rory could be getting a baby bump. On the other hand, rumors say it could be Lorelai who’s pregnant with Luke Danes’ (Scott Patterson) baby.
People actually came up with these rumors after the official “Gilmore Girls'” Instagram account posted a photo of a plate full of Pop-Tarts appetizers and a single apple in the middle.
Fans may have come to the conclusion that one of the girls is pregnant after thinking that one of them is craving for Pop-Tarts or apples. In fact, apples were Lorelai’s pregnancy fruit. However, there is a logical explanation for the photo one that does not involve the girls getting pregnant.
Die-hard fans pointed out that in season 1’s 13th episode, Rory and a few of her friends were studying at her house when Lorelai gave them a plate of Pop-Tarts with an apple in the middle. They believe the Instagram post is just referencing the episode and nothing more.
Fans will soon find out if anyone is pregnant because “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” will air on Nov. 25 on Netflix.
