With only a little over a month left before the highly anticipated premiere of “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” Netflix has unveiled official promotional posters for the reboot featuring each of the four seasons.
According to USA Today, the posters showcase Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) dressed appropriately for winter sporting pants and turtlenecks; spring, as they are both holding flowers; summer, as they celebrate the fourth of July; and fall, as they stand amid falling orange maple leaves.
As revealed previously and in the first trailer of the revival, the limited series will consist of four parts each with a 90-minute running time. Each episode represents a season of the year.
In an interview with TV Line, show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino shared, “It’s about three women at a crossroads in each of their lives. I am very pleased with all four of [the episodes]. I feel like we accomplished what we set out to do, which is something I almost never say.”
Graham added that the continued narrative is the “most favorite thing” she has ever done.
Nine years after the fans last saw them in the series finale; the story will revolve around Lorelai and Luke’s (Scott Patterson) relationship being tested, Rory dealing with career issues and Emily processing the sudden loss of Gilmore patriarch Richard (Edward Herrmann).
Joining the Gilmore family are friends and other Stars Hollow residents including Milo Ventimiglia, Jared Padalecki, Matt Czuchry, Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Danny Strong, Yanic Truesdale, and Sean Gunn.
Ventimiglia who portrays one of Rory’s love interests, Jess, previously shared to E! News that it was interesting to revisit the character.
“Whatever sly behavior he had, who he was at his core was a very, very good guy. I think that started to emerge as time went on,” he stated.
“Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life” is slated to be released on Nov. 25.
