'Gilmore Girls' revival spoilers: first page of 'Winter' episode script

“Gilmore Girls” fans are counting down to the series’ Netflix revival premiere, and ahead of the debut of “Gilmore Girls: A Day in the Life,” several spoilers have been released this week, including a first-look photo and the first page from the “Winter” episode of the series.

The photo which was exclusively released by TVLine shows Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Luke (Scott Patterson) sitting together at the legendary Stars Hollow landmark, the Black-White-Read Bookstore/Theater. The pair is joined by about a dozen fellow residents, and Lorelai is on her phone and looking very surprised. Luke is looking at her and pointing to himself, which could mean that whoever Lorelai is talking to might be telling her something about Luke.

Meanwhile, the first page of the script for the premiere episode, “Winter,” has been shared by show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. The script, which was posted by Entertainment Weekly, features Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) homecoming, and Lorelai’s annoyance at how perfect her daughter looks despite a seven-hour plane ride.

The scene takes place at the gazebo, where Rory arrives to find her mother sitting on the steps. The first line belongs to Lorelai, who says, “That’s how you look when you get off a plane?”

Lorelai continues to look at her daughter in disbelief as she points out the ways why she can’t get off a plane looking the way she does.

“You should look drawn and blotchy. You should be singing ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ with a bad haircut while selling yourself to French dockworkers,” Lorelai rants. “Instead, you look perfect. Admit it. You’ve been Goop’d,” she continued.

“I have not been Goop’d,” Rory answers.

The revival will be comprised of four 90-minute episodes titled “Winter,” “Spring,” “Summer,” and “Fall.” Sherman-Palladino told TVLine that she spent a considerable amount of time planning the opening shot of the premiere because this is the first time that fans will see Stars Hollow since the show aired its finale back in 2007.

“It will be the first time we’ve seen Stars Hollow in a while, so I needed things to look a very specific way,” said the show creator.

“Gilmore Girls: A Day in the Life” premieres Friday, Nov. 25 at 12:01 a.m. on Netflix.
