Yet another major gaming event will take place in the following weeks, as Gamescom 2015 kicks off in Cologne, Germany on August 5 for trade visitors and August 6-9 for the general public.
For this year, the organizers of Gamesocm intended to take the event to the “next level”. The event area is approximately 193,000 square meters big, which is almost 18 per cent bigger than the venues for previous events. And unlike other gaming events, Gamescom will be open to everyone.
So, what can one expect during the event? Here is a round-up of all confirmed appearances for Gamescom 2015.
First off, Bandai Namco Entertainment has previously announced that two of their upcoming gamesNaruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and Dark Souls IIIwill be making an appearance (and be playable!) in the said event.
Microsoft, meanwhile, has also confirmed that they will be showcasing gameplay videos of the three upcoming Xbox One exclusive titles Scalebound, Quantum Break and Crackdown. Xbox Head Phil Spencer said over Twitter that the gameplay for Crackdown brings a feeling of nostalgia.
Microsoft will also be showcasing Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza Motorsport 6, and Halo 5: Guardians.
Blizzard, on the other hand, will be showcasing the following games: Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, Overwatch, Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void, and World of Warcraft: Warlord of Draenor.
Bethesda is also confirmed to be making a presentation for the upcoming Fallout 4. Konami, meanwhile, will showcase Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Square Enix will be filled with Final Fantasy titles, and other titles, too, like Deus EX: Mankind Divided, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, and Life is Strange.
