'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers, news: Liam Cunningham and Peter Dinklage spotted filming together, Daenerys and Jon Snow to form an alliance?

Is an alliance between two major characters going to happen in the upcoming season of “Game of Thrones?” Production is underway in Spain for the seventh season of the HBO series, and a leaked video reveals that Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) had an encounter on what appears to be the shores of Dragonstone.

In a video shared by Basque newspaper El Correo (via Watchers on the Wall), Dinklage and Cunningham are in costume and appear to be rehearsing a scene on the beach in Barrika. Tyrion is dressed in the same black outfit that he was wearing in the season 6 finale, which showed him on a boat with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) as they headed to Westeros along with her army. Davos is dressed in his usual attire and is seen preparing a small boat while he has a conversation with Tyrion.

The video raised theories that when the show returns, fans might see Jon and Dani working together as this could only be the reason why their counselors are having a dialogue. Tyrion has recently been named as Dani’s Hand, while Davos has been with Jon through all of last season, which ended with Jon being named as the King of the North. If the theories are accurate, then Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and anyone else who is trying to get on the Iron Throne will be facing a force to be reckoned with as Dani brings her vast army made up of Dothraki warriors, the Meereenese, and the Iron Islands forces, while Jon is backed by the wildlings and the lords and ladies of the North.

Does this also mean that Dani and Jon might get married in season 7? It can be recalled that Dani left her lover behind as she knew that the most effective way to form an alliance is through marriage, and Jon is a prime candidate for her future husband. But this also means that Jon will be marrying his aunt. It was revealed in the finale that Jon is the child of Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi) and Rhaegar Targaryen, with the latter being Dani’s older brother.

“Game of Thrones” season 7 premieres in summer 2017 on HBO.
