“Game of Thrones” fans all have their favorite characters, but season 6 saw the debut of new fan-favorite Lady Lyanna Mormont, played by 12-year-old actress Bella Ramsey. Ramsey became an instant hit with fans as she portrayed the precocious and very fierce leader of the House of Mormont, and her rousing speech in the finale about Jon Snow (Kit Harington) being her king made the other Lords give their support to the former Lord Commander.
Now, it has been confirmed that Lyanna will be back in season 7 as Ramsey has been spotted on the set of the HBO hit series. Twitter user PAP4U posted pictures of the actress exiting the hair and makeup trailer at the studio in Corbet, Northern Ireland, and Lyanna seems ready for battle in a gray outfit with leather sleeves and matching gray boots. The photos were taken on Monday, Oct. 10.
Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund Giantsbane in the show, took to Instagram to share a photo of him and Ramsey, and while the actor did not confirm whether Lyanna will be in season 7, he did hint that there are more epic stories when the show returns.
“Can’t tell you if our characters meet or not this season but I can tell you this: you have SO much to look forward to in season 7!” Hivju teased.
Meanwhile, it looks like another Stark reunion is in the cards in the upcoming installment. Season 1 was the last time that the siblings were together, and in season 6, Sansa (Sophie Turner) was reunited with Jon at the Wall shortly after he was brought back to life. In the next season, it appears that Arya (Maisie Williams) and Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) will cross paths as the two were photographed together in the show’s makeup trailer.
According to Watchers On the Wall, it is unclear whether the two filmed scenes together, but a reunion between Jon and Arya appears to be more likely as the season finale saw Arya heading back to her home. It was also noted that Williams’ character is wearing a costume that looks very similar to the one that Ramsey was wearing, and it’s possible that they could be gearing up to help Jon as he leads the fight against the White Walkers.
“Game of Thrones” returns to HBO in 2017.
