"Game of Thrones" Season 6 spoilers: Sibel Kekilli returns as Shae; Melanie Liburd thrilled after being cast in undisclosed role

As the premiere of the sixth season of HBO’s critically-acclaimed drama series, “Game of Thrones,” draws near, more details about the show are being revealed.

The Independent reported that actress Sibel Kekilli was spotted in Pescola, Spain where most of the sixth season is being filmed. For those who do not remember, Kekilli played Shae, Tyrion’s former lover. At the end of season four, Tyrion killed Shae when he discovered her in bed with his father Tywin. Based on the report, Kekilli’s Shae might be part of a flashback.

Meanwhile, Watchers on the Wall wrote that a new casting notice has been issued. The notice is for an “emaciated street woman in her thirties, a painfully thin woman living in extreme poverty with a starving baby.” The website discussed further that the character will meet a leading cast member, and she will be scared and unable to speak.

According to the same report by the website, the leading cast member could be Conleth Hill (Varys) or Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) because they are also in Spain to shoot scenes that are set in Meereen.

Aside from the small role for a street woman, Melanie Liburd has joined the epic drama series in an undisclosed role. On her Instagram account (@mellyliburd), the actress posted a picture of her with the caption, “Flying back to London then on to Spain to film Game Of Thrones. Holy *%#@ dreams actually do come true! I’m so excited I feel like jumping up and down!! #HBO #britactressinla #actress #fightforyourdreams #dreamjob #keeponkeepingon #neverstop #peaceout”

In a separate report by Watchers on the Wall, it is suggested that Liburd might play a Red priestess that could be named Kinvara or a young widow. The priestess, as the website reported before, is in her mid-20’s to early 30’s. She is beautiful, intense, and magnetic.

No official release date has been announced for the premiere of “Game of Thrones” season six on HBO.
