Frozen 2 news: Original team back to do sequel; romance for Olaf? Kristen Bell's inspiring message surprises sick fan

Frozen 2 will not be out before 2018 but fans of the original movie are already excited to see what Disney has dreamed up for the franchise responsible for raking in over $1.2 billion worldwide in 2013 and launching children into a Let it Go frenzy on youtube.

A post on The Telegraph UK has compiled rumors and confirmations about the sequel and based on the report, Broadway star Idina Menzel, who voiced the character of Elsa and actress Kristen Bell, who played Princess Anna have already signed on for the sequel.

Josh Gad, who played the lovable snowman Olaf was also confirmed to return to the franchise. Jennifer Lee, who directed the original movie, will also rejoin the cast to helm Part 2.

The report also hinted that Elsa and Anna may be getting new threads, if their new clothing in the short Frozen Fever was any indication. The sequel may also seek to top the success of Let it Go and feature a duet with the sisters.

Since Olaf is one of the most notable characters in the first movie, the report speculated that he may find his one true love in the sequel too.

In related news, Princess Anna herself went out of her way to surprise six year old Avery Huffman, who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.

Kristen Bell put her Frozen powers to good use by leaving an encouraging voice message for her biggest fan.

In her message, Bell, channeling her Princess Anna character, praised Huffman for being a brave a good girl, and invited her to become an honorary princess of Arendelle.
