The professional partnership of ex-lovers Tarek and Christina El Moussa seems to be blossoming further. The two stars of HGTV’s “Flip or Flop” just launched a brand new show for the network.

According to Variety, the ex-couple are producing the show “Chi-Town Flip” under their production company, Sky High Media. The show is about a couple who the El Moussas met in one of their real estate seminars. The couple, like the El Moussas, also flip houses, though only in the city of Chicago.

“To be honest, it has been tough. And we have had our moments,” shared Tarek on working with Christina. “But, again, I just keep reminding myself that we are co-parents to two beautiful kids. We owe it to them to be as amicable as we can be,” he explained. He stressed that their kids are their top priority and that they are “going to work together as parents” for the rest of their lives.

Tarek bared that they are also working on other shows under the home improvement genre. In addition, he also confirmed that they both have their own personal projects. He went on to say that only time can tell “how things unfold.”

The two are in the middle of shooting “Flip or Flop” season 7. So far, things are going smoothly as planned. Last June, Entertainment Tonight reported that Tarek and Christina were having fun while taping a “Flip or Flop” episode. Photos showed Tarek pulling off a wacky crane pose, which drew a smile from Christina.

Moreover, he also expressed his excitement, as she posted on her Instagram a group photo with the people behind season 7. Last month though, the two faced a tough ordeal as Frank “The Tank” Miller was rushed to the hospital because of his condition. Miller was one of the show’s contractors, and he is currently battling two forms of aggressive cancer.

Earlier this month, Tarek shared that Miller’s condition has improved, though the latter is still on a long road to recovery.
