'The Flash' spoilers: A look into Earth-2, Killer Frost and Deathstorm

Viewers will finally get to see Killer Frost and Deathstorm in the next episode of “The Flash” when Barry together with Cisco and Dr. Wells enter Earth 2.

The synopsis for “Welcome to Earth 2” is shared by Comicbook.com and it says: “Barry, Wells and Cisco travel to Earth-2 to rescue Wells’ daughter from Zoom. Barry is stunned when he runs into Earth-2 Iris and Joe, but nothing prepares him for meeting Killer Frost and Deathstorm. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jay takes over the Flash’s duties when a meta-human nicknamed Geomancer attacks Central City.”

In the promo trailer, the three travellers enter the portal as Jay tells them that things may look and feel familiar. He then warns them against being “sucked in emotionally.”

While the scene shows the three inside Earth-2, Barry’s voice over-says, “If we’re not back in 48 hours they need to close the breach.”

In the scene that follows, viewers get a glimpse of Killer Frost and Deathstorm who are then shown to be in the same place as Barry.

Earth-2 Caitlin dressed as Killer Frost greets a seemingly surprised Barry, “Hey handsome!”

In yet another scene, Killer Frosts asks, “So, which one of you is in the wrong universe?” suggesting she recognizes the presence of dopplegangers.

The preview also shows Earth-2 villains use their powers as Barry and Cisco face trouble. A bespectacled Barry is seen taking off the helmet of Earth-2’s Flash from a statue and using it. It is not clear, however, which Earth that particular Barry comes from as another one of him is seen running without glasses.

A sneak peek into the dangers happening on Earth-1 is also shown. Joe talks to Jay and says, “Barry is protecting your world and I will beep the Flash now.”

The trailer ends with Caitlin saying, “They could be stuck there forever.”

Geomancer is not shown in the teaser but Screenrant describes guest star Adam Stafford’s character as a dangerous metahuman with the ability to create earthquakes.

There is no telling whether or not Barry, Cisco and Dr. Wells will be able to return to Earth-1, at least until the next episode airs. The success of their attempts at saving Jesse is yet to be determined.

“Welcome to Earth-2” will be shown on Feb. 9. “The Flash” series airs Tuesdays, 8:00 pm, on The CW network.
