“Five Nights at Freddy’s” is gearing up for a new game, called “Five Nights at Freddy’s World,” which was confirmed after a new trailer was released early this month.

According to Design & Trend, the game will enable players to choose from at least 37 characters or character sets to fill in the four slots. Earlier, creator Scott Cawthon teased “hidden animatronics” Easter eggs, which could imply that there are still other characters yet to be revealed.

As for the villain, the same report mentioned that the antagonist shown resembles Purple Fredbear from the game’s earlier installments because of the purple hat and bowtie. As for its gameplay, “Five Nights at Freddy’s World” may have one main character that will lead the navigation through the universe, while the other three may serve as support but will nonetheless have their own different skills.

The trailer highlighted five different attacks. Under Chica, there is Cupcake, Birthday, and Waterhose. For Spring Bonnie, there is Cosmic Song, Happy Jam 2, and Springlocks. As for Phantom Mangle, the attacks are Toxic Bite, Mystery Box, and Pizza Wheel 2. Meanwhile, Bite 2, Slude, and Freddles make up Nightmare Freddy’s skills. Lastly, Phantom Foxy has Jumpscare, Toxic Bite, and Unscrew.

The game was initially expected in time for Halloween. However, Halloween has come and gone without the launch of “Five Nights at Freddy’s World.” With this, the next possible release date may be early 2016, although Cawthon is yet to confirm the final details.

Aside from the game, a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie is also expected. At the moment, few details are known about the upcoming film. However, Gil Kenan, director of the movie, teased that the animatronics will be made at Henson Creature Shop, while the set will be taken “in more than one location,” noted Kotaku. The film is also expected to give a good scare to its viewers. No release date has been pinned down for the upcoming film.
