Five Nights at Freddy's movie news: director Gil Kenan teases more details on his Twitter

It seems as if Five Nights at Freddy’s director Gil Kenan is really enjoying himself on set, becoming a wealth of information about the behind the scenes developments through his social media account.

Based on Kenan’s tweets, eagle eyed fans were able to work out what the focus of the film, based on Scott Cawthon’s popular video game series, will be.

Kenan has already posted images of himself shopping around Henson Creature Shop as well as early progress on the animatronix that will be used for the movie, Latin Post reported.

Kenan has earlier said that he prefers to use practical effects to bring to life the animatronic band that plays at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, which comes to life at night to prey on whoever is left inside the pizza place — the main premise of the games.

In his new post, Kenan posted new teasers of a child crying in the lap of a creepy looking bunny mascot. Kenan also posted the same photo but this time zoomed into the eye socket of the bunny which shows the eye of the person inside the mascot, reported Design and Trend.

This has fans of the game speculating that bunny may actually be Bonnie, an actual character in the series, which is a rabbit like creature.

According to “Five Nights At Freddy’s” lore, a group of children is lured away by a man in a character suit and then, they were brutally slaughtered. The spirits of those victims are actually the ones possessing the animatronics of Freddy Fazbear restaurants forever.

The crying boy may also be in reference to a story related to the franchise wherein players are told of the story of a boy who is attacked by the robots in the restaurant.
