Finding Carter Season 2: MTV makes casting calls for waiters, cops, teachers and high school students; Carter to leave school?

MTV’s Finding Carter Season 2 has been looking to find a lot of cast members to fill its roster. Between July 20-31, the show has posted a series of casting calls for the show on almost a daily basis.

The announcements were posted on wherein the show made public the need for cops in Atlanta, teens in Atlanta, actors for recurring roles, high school students and other teens, as well as teachers.

The call for recurring appearances were for wait staff who are experienced in carrying heavy trays. A recurring bartender who is “fit, attractive, fun” as well as a recurring bouncer were also included in the casting call.

Meanwhile, the call for teachers and high school students was opened for multiple roles for an August 4 shoot of a scene in a middle school in Georgia. The requirement ranged from the kids to teens, runners and teachers.

Meanwhile, entertainment site CarterMatt reported that Season 2 will revolve around Carter following the wrong path after she finds out that her father has a secret son with Lori.

According to the site, the second half of the second season will see Carter experience some issues in dealing with a brother she never knew she had as well as having to decide whether to stay with the person she thought was her mother or going to her true family.

It was said that she may work as a bartender, and drop out from school, exposing her to a racy underground circuit that is completely unfamiliar to her. Still, it is expected that after all the chaos, the show will return to the subject of family, which is the main theme of the series.

Finding Carter Season will return to MTV on October 6.
